First To Market S Rated Bollards

Being the first bollard company to test and bring to market ASTM F3016 bollard solutions we have developed a deep knowledge base on bollard installation and perimeter security. We have worked tirelessly to develop the right combination of functional bollards paired with minimally invasive foundations to provide both safety and cost effectiveness. With an industry leading 20 ASTM F3016 tests and counting, we provide numerous HDPE Removable Lockable Bollards and fixed tested bollard options that can address a wide range of safety concerns as well as site specific installation concerns. In the coming months we will begin testing bollards in core drilled slab scenarios that will enable end users to secure their perimeter over night.

As S rated bollard become more functional and easier to install, they will gain more traction in a wide variety of applications and will likely be more widely adopted as Cities begin to adopt requirements surrounding the ASTM F3016 standard. Insurance carries will also play a role as the begin to incentivize their customers to install S rated bollard solutions in areas of vulnerability. Those areas will often be entry points to facilities where people are at risk injury or death from a vehicle incursion or to protect critical utilities and expensive equipment that is vulnerable to a vehicle incursion.

Another area of focus is to provide product that is less maintenance intensive by using materials or finishes that are less likely to corrode and more likely to maintain their strength over time. Stainless steel or a hot dipped galvanized finish. Hot-dip galvanization is the process of coating steel with zinc, which alloys with the surface of the base metal when immersing the metal in a bath of molten zinc at a temperature of around 449 °C (840 °F). These options will help to ensure the efficacy of a security bollard over time.
