Those areas will often be entry points to facilities where people are at risk injury or death from a vehicle incursion or to protect critical utilities and expensive equipment that is vulnerable to a vehicle incursion.
Another area of focus for Bollard Warehouse is to provide product that is less maintenance intensive by using materials or finishes that are less likely to corrode and more likely to maintain their strength over time. Stainless steel or a hot dipped galvanized finish. Hot-dip galvanization is the process of coating steel with zinc, which alloys with the surface of the base metal when immersing the metal in a bath of molten zinc at a temperature of around 449 °C (840 °F). These options will help to ensure the efficacy of a security bollard over time.
